| Blain Van Allen Fort Wayne, Indiana Years of thought went into the 12 X 20 foot loft. It has a storage viewing area on the rear end. The opening for the birds is in the roof, in the small dormer. The chute goes down to ceiling level. With this design, Blain no longer worries about cats, raccoons, etc. entering. It is constructed with cedar siding and a solid 2 X 6 floor raised over a concrete foundation. The eve runs around the entire roof to keep intruders off. Blain trains young birds each year and plans to include old birds in the future. |
