Auction will be Saturday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Bob's Floor
Covering (201 E. Crawford Street, Findlay, OH) Dan Horner,
Auctioneer.
September 27, will be race day from 250-mile station (Terre
Haute, IN). Auction race birds will be released 30 minutes
prior to regular race birds. Out of area birds - $10
entry, use your own bands. Bird must be present auction
day. Handler becomes owner, buy back arranged through

3rd Annual High Plains Classic Futurity - July 11-13, 2008
The Central Kansas Flyers of Hutchinson, KS is hosting an
entire weekend you won't want to miss! The night before the
race, breeders can handle birds and visit with the handlers.
Snacks and drinks will also be provided that night.
Saturday is race day. The race will be hosted at the Double W
Loft in Medora, KS (about 4 miles from Hutchinson). An ALL YOU
CAN EAT BBQ BUFFET will be provided that day as well.
For those still in on Sunday morning, join us for rolls and
coffee before heading home.

17th ANNUAL HAMPTON ROADS RACING PIGEON CLUB’S YOUNG BIRD
CLASSIC RACE FOR 2008
Race Distance: 250 miles from a liberation point with the most
favorable weather forecast. Shipping will be Friday, August 29th
with liberation on Saturday, August 30th weather permitting.
Cost: 5-birds $300.00, for every 5-bird entry you will be
allowed one free entry. The free bird will be on rotation; all
other entries may be designated with no more than 2 birds per
handler. Handler limit is up to the handler. Handler cannot
handle his own pigeons.
Birds accepted February 1 – June 1- replacements until June
30th. Ship or deliver birds to Marion Cutler at 22077 Haynes La.
in Carrollton, Virginia 23314, phone number is (757) 357-4682.
All birds must go to Marion Cutler, if not those birds will not
be allowed to participate in the race, no exceptions. No back up
birds allowed so please don’t ask. Send entry fee to Steve

January 24th, 2009 - 2009 Silver State Challenge (330 miles)
The 330 mile-race activities will be held January 23 - 24, 2009.
Entry fee - $500 (1 bird, 2 backups). Perch Fee - $100 per bird
for first 2 birds or $250 for 3 birds. Perch fee and Entry Fee
must accompany birds when shipped. Limited to 600 entries or a
total of 1,800 birds.
If both the primary and backup(s) are present after the 100 mile
training toss (January 3, 2009), the backup bird(s) can be
activated for an
additional $500.
The top 50 birds, based on Average Speed, will be auctioned off
online with 50% to the breeder and 50% to Silver State Challenge
after expenses.
All birds in the first drop will split their payout positions.
All other prizes will be paid by clocking position. The race
committee will settle all unforeseen circumstances and their
decision is final.
All birds will be vaccinated for POX and PMV when they arrive at
the loft. NO EXCEPTIONS. Check the website www.sscloft.com
