The American Racing Pigeon Union is proud of our junior members and we are excited to offer this unique opportunity for competition for just junior members. The 11th annual AU National Youth Race is just around the corner. We hope you will participate!

Each year the National Youth Race is held in conjunction with the AU Convention. The race is another great way to participate in the sport of racing Homing Pigeons and is the only recognized youth race in the country. The objective of the race is to promote greater involvement of AU Junior members in our hobby by allowing them the camaraderie and friendly competition of participation in a prestigious national youth event.

The 2008 National Youth Race will be held during the AU Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. The loft handler for this one-loft race will be Michael Sordahl. Race day will be October 15, 2008.

Each competitor will receive a certificate and the top ten will be mounted on a handsome plaque. The top place will receive a trophy as well. Additionally, the winner is invited to attend the 2009 AU convention as our guest!
