2008 AU Junior Membership Contest
With this contest, you have an opportunity to win an awesome
electronic timing system!
In this year’s contest, you are asked to write an essay.
Consider when you started racing. At that time, one or more
people offered their suggestions to you in order that you would
have a fun and successful racing experience. If a new member
were to join your club, or join the sport in your area, what are
the top 5 most important things you would teach the new flyer?
Tell us why.
Your essay will be examined on your judgment of the importance
of things you would teach. Tell us also why you feel those 5
things are important. Following instructions and having the
entry in by the deadline will improve your chances of winning.
Membership must be current to be eligible. Sorry, past contest
winners are not eligible to win again.
For the sixth year, Ed Minvielle and Siegel’s Pigeon Supply
have donated the fantastic prize of a Benzing electronic timing
system. Ed & Siegel’s want to see youth participation in
the sport grow. The AU appreciates their generosity.
You are asked to submit your entries postmarked by September 12,
2008.
The winner will be selected prior to the 2008 annual convention
and announced at the convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
