2002 TEXAS CENTER SHOW ATTRACTS
FORT WORTH RESIDENTS !

January featured another successful sport promotion opportunity at the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show. The setting was the Will Rogers Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The Texas Invitational Racing Pigeon Club hosted the show. Members from the Texas Invitational Racing Pigeon Club and the Fort Worth Racing Pigeon Club helped man the American Racing Pigeon Union promotional display during the two-day show. Various clubs were represented during the show. Guests visited with local fanciers to learn about the hobby, racing and show pigeons, 4-H opportunities and club activities.

Fancy birds and Homing Pigeons were on display.

Club members had many new leads for potential new members and are encouraging them to join the sport.

Many thanks to the Texas Invitational Club for inviting AU to participate in the show.
